Who is Super Retail Online intended for?

Super Retail Online is intended for private consumers. We exclusively transport consumer goods purchased from recognized Dutch web shops to end users.

I don’t see the correct import category (only Curaçao) in the shipping calculator, which one can I select to still have a good indication of the costs?

Only for Curaçao: Please select the import category ‘Other’ which applies a 10.5% import duty, the most common rate. Keep in mind that if you order a product with a higher import tariff, the costs may be higher than expected. It could also be a pleasant surprise if the import tariff turns out to be lower.

Can I use the “pay later” option at the webshop?

No, goods shipped to the islands must be paid for in the Netherlands. Therefore, payment options like “pay later” (e.g., Klarna) cannot be used.

Can I ship IKEA orders with Super Retail Online?

At Super Retail Online, we maintain high-quality standards for handling packages. Unfortunately, IKEA’s transport process does not meet these standards.

We have noticed that IKEA’s delivery process often encounters issues, resulting in missing items when orders arrive at our delivery address in the Netherlands. Additionally, the goods are not packaged to withstand sea transport, which greatly increases the risk of damage during shipping. This has led to damaged orders on several occasions, understandably causing disappointment among our customers.

Our priority is to provide excellent service and ensure the quality of your order throughout transport. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this for IKEA orders.

What phone number do I need to fill in at the webshop?

Can my order also be delivered in the weekend or after 6 PM in the Netherlands?

Orders can only be delivered from Monday to Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM to our delivery address: Contour Avenue 81, 2133 LD Hoofddorp

How can I find my Super Retail Online receipt?

You can download, save, or print your purchase receipt from the Super Retail Online portal. Simply log in and click on your order number to find the ‘customer invoice.’

Purchases on marktplaats.nl or other auction sites

Unfortunately, products purchased via marktplaats.nl or other auction sites cannot be shipped with Super Retail Online.

The webshop asks for a VAT number, what now?

Sometimes, a webshop in the Netherlands may ask for a VAT identification number. In that case, please enter Super Retail Online’s VAT number: NL862242885B01

The webshop does not give me an invoice with VAT, what now?

Your order can still be shipped if you uncheck the box labeled “Do you want to get the VAT back.” Unfortunately, it is not possible to reclaim VAT without a VAT invoice. As a result, we cannot offset the paid VAT against transport costs and import duties.

What are the additional costs for different sizes?

If your package has different dimensions, that’s not a problem. However, additional costs may apply. Larger packages take up more space during transport, which increases the shipping cost. For packages over 100 cm, we charge €25, and for packages over 200 cm, the charge is €50. These fees are included in the transport costs and clearly shown in your calculation. Transparent and straightforward, right?

How long will my order be on its way?

Air Freight:
For Curaçao, please allow 5 working days from the moment your order arrives at our location in the Netherlands. For Bonaire, arrival may take longer since there is only one flight per week.

Sea Freight:
Please allow 4 to 5 weeks from the moment your order arrives at our location in the Netherlands.

What are the costs?

In the cost indicator, you can get an estimate of the costs. Enter the price, dimensions, and weight of your package. Then select either air freight or sea freight and choose the import duty category (note: this does not apply to Bonaire, where the ABB applies). Please keep in mind that this is only an estimate. Transport rates may change, and no rights can be claimed based on these indications.

Can all goods be transported by air freight?

No, unfortunately not. For example, power banks (batteries), fragrances (EDT), and pressurized containers (aerosols) cannot be shipped by air freight. However, they can be included in our sea freight shipments.

Can I also send a package from a family member/friend via Super Retail Online?

No, unfortunately, this is not possible. Super Retail Online only ships products purchased from official webshops.

Which goods can NOT be transported with Super Retail Online?

Unfortunately, not all goods can be transported or imported through Super Retail Online. The following products are NOT accepted:

  • Food and nutritional supplements;

  • Medical goods, such as face masks;

  • Vitamins and medicines;

  • Live animals, plants, and flowers;

  • Fireworks;

  • Illegal goods, such as firearms and drugs;

  • Goods classified as “dangerous goods” or “hazardous substances”

What is volumetric weight for air freight?

Volumetric weight is the weight assigned to a package based on its dimensions. A large package weighing 2 kg can have a significantly higher volumetric weight due to its size. When calculating transport costs, we use the higher value between the volumetric weight and the actual weight.

You can calculate volumetric weight using this formula:

(Height in cm × Width in cm × Depth in cm) ÷ 1,000 × 0.167

For example, a package measuring 33 cm × 80 cm × 45 cm has a volumetric weight of 19.8 kg: (33 × 80 × 45) ÷ 1,000 × 0.167 = 19.8 kg

Our cost indicator takes volumetric weight into account when calculating transport costs, so please always enter the correct packaging dimensions!

Where and when can I pick up my order?

You can pick up your order at the Super Retail Online pickup point. Please don’t forget to bring your ID, as you may be asked to show it.

On Curaçao:
The pickup point is in Saliña. DA and Pearle Vision are located at the front of the building, while the Super Retail Online pickup point is at the back. Orders can be picked up Monday to Saturday between 9 AM and 6 PM.

On Bonaire:
The pickup point is at Kaya Gob. N Debrot, at the Super Retail stores (DA, Pearle Vision, Bruna, and Top1Toys). Orders can be picked up on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and on Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Can I pay by debit card at your pickup point?

You’re welcome to pay by debit or with credit card at our pickup point. Please note that we do not accept cash payments. Thank you for your understanding!
